Giants pitcher Justin Verlander recently said he wants to pitch in 2026, but there’s no guarantee of that, so Monday could be the final start for the Hall of Fame pitcher. Verlander has allowed just one run over his last four starts at age 42, and he has a 3.75 ERA as he still remains one of the most reliable pitchers in baseball.
