Chlöe Bailey tore up the VMA stage on Sunday, performing her debut single, “Have Mercy.” But the 23-year-old admitted she may have gone a little to hard on the big night.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the singer revealed she accidentally injured herself on stage, but powered through it.

“I hurt my shoulder from [the performance],” Bailey confessed. “But I’m really happy.”  She didn’t elaborate on the extent of her injury, but hinted it was minor in nature.

Even after hurting her shoulder, Chloe rushed off to another first-time event — the 2021 Met Gala — on the following night, where she attended alongside sister Halle Bailey.

“This is so exciting. We get to do this together. It’s our first one,” Halle gushed to ET.  “Just seeing everyone’s dresses and gowns, it’s so exciting.”

Chlöe was also thrilled to take part in the Met Gala, and added, “We’re so happy to be repping other sisters tonight.”
