How old were you when you cooked your first meal?  According to Tamera Mowry-Housley, her two young children are already cooking up a storm.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the Sister, Sister alum credits the pandemic for inspiring her son, Aden, to dabble in the kitchen.

“Ever since the pandemic, because we were all stuck together, after a while we were looking at each other like, ‘Uhhh… What are we gonna do?,'” she recalled, noting how she and husband Adam Housley love to make meals, and began to share their passion with fans.

“We had a show called Quarantine Cuisine on social media. The thing blew up. At one point we were getting like a million views a night,” said Tamera. “So, the kids saw that and then they wanted to get involved. My son can cook breakfast, lunch and dinner.”

While her son is a meal making machine, the actress shouted out her six-year-old daughter Ariah‘s “perfect” cooking skills.

“She made eggs, the girl can crack an egg flawlessly,” the proud mom declared. “And she helped me make cookies. And I have to say, I still even, like, will drop a piece of shell in there. But my daughter does not. She is perfect. I’m not just saying that. Like, she is fantastic.”

The Baker’s Dozen host also hinted that a love for cooking is not the only thing her children inherited from her.  As it turns out, Ariah is interested in following in her mother’s acting footsteps.

“Once she found out that I actually do Christmas Hallmark films, she literally said, ‘Mommy, can I be in your next movie?'” Tamera shared, noting that she will only include Ariah if that is what she truly wants.

The proud mom also added her daughter “has amazing comedic timing.”
