The FIU Panthers have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. They will square off against the Texas Tech Red Raiders at 7 p.m. ET Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium. FIU is the clear underdog, so they’re hoping it’s the size of the fight that determines this one.
The Panthers fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against the Texas State Bobcats last week but wound up with a less-than-desirable result, falling 23-17.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn’t a dominant performance, Texas Tech beat the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks 28-22 last week.
